Terms and Condition for Pepitas
1. Definitions: The following capitalised terms in these general terms and conditions for payment services for hotel shall have the following meanings:
2. Account: the account maintained by the Customer with pepitas through which Payment Transactions can be executed;
3. Agreement: the agreement for services in relation to an Account entered into by the Customer and Pepitas to which the Conditions have been declared applicable;
4. Business Day: each day that the offices of Pepitas are generally open for hotel payment business in chennai, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
5. Conditions: the terms and conditions for payment services for pepitas (of which those presented in this document), as amended from time to time;
6. Pepitas, having its registered office in Chennai and entered in the Trade
7. Customer: Customer has opened an Account with Pepitas for hotel payment services.
8. Direct Payment: the customer can pay their monthly due through Pepitas secured website and can review their Account, if made available to the Customer;
9 General Conditions: the general payment conditions of pepitas, as amended from time to time.
10. These Conditions constitute the overall framework for the contractual relationship between the Customer and Pepitas for the provision of services in relation to the Account of the Customer, the Payment Transactions and all relationships between the Customer and Pepitas in connection therewith.
11. For specific payment services offered by Pepitas additional terms and conditions may apply. In the event of any inconsistency between the provisions of these Conditions and such additional terms and conditions shall prevail.
12. In addition to the Agreement, the General Conditions shall be applicable to the relationship between the Customer and Pepitas

Opening an account
13. Pepitas will only accept requests for the opening of an Account if a Pepitas receives (i) a completed and duly authorised request hereto and (ii) the required documentary and information for customer acceptance .
14. The applicant has the corporate power to enter into an agreement and to perform its obligations there under and has taken all corporate action in connection therewith.
15. Pepitas is entitled to reject requests for opening an Account at its sole discretion. In the event of a rejection, Pepitas is not required to provide the applicant with a reason.
16. Pepitas App is for Chennai Resident only. pepitas App will be used for listed hotels in and around Chennai city only.
17.Pepitas will only accept requests for the opening of an Account if a Pepitas receives (i) a completed and duly authorised request hereto and (ii) the required documentary and information for customer acceptance .
a) The customer should submit duly signed Pepitas form (hard copy) with all required details
b) The customer should provide copy of a valid Photo Identity card with address proof
And proof of employment/Business.
Once the application is processed and verified, customer can download the App from Android play store. One time password is sent through SMS for activation. Then the App is ready to use, Customer can have food /Drink/Spa/Rooms/Travel/Entertainment and other services provided in pepitas website. Customer can scan QR code in our listed hotels for payment services.
c) One time processing fee of INR 350+GST. Added to the first month statement.
18. The applicant has the corporate power to enter into an agreement and to perform its obligations there under and has taken all corporate action in connection therewith.
19. Pepitas is entitled to reject requests for opening an Account at its sole discretion. In the event of a rejection, Pepitas is not required to provide the applicant with a reason.
20. The Customer may use the Account as set forth in these Conditions and, if applicable, the additional terms and conditions for specific payment services provided by Pepitas.
21. Pepitas reserves the right to set minimum and maximum balances with respect to the Accounts.
22. Pepitas consents to an overdraft, the Customer shall ensure that the Account has a credit balance at least once in every month, unless pepitas and the Customer agree otherwise.
23. The Customer shall use online payment service in accordance with the instructions provided by Pepitas governing the issue and use of Direct payment service as set forth in these and/ or any other applicable terms and conditions provided by pepitas.
24. The Customer shall take all reasonable steps to safeguard payment service, including but not limited to: a. preventing that user names, passwords and security codes fall into the hands of third parties;
25. Not writing down any user names, passwords or security codes in any form or saving it on any computer or mobile device;
26. Customer shall inform Pepitas immediately of a reasonable suspicion of loss, theft, wrongful use or non permitted use of user names, passwords, security codes and security questions.
27. Customer shall inform Pepitas by any of the means.

Blocking of Payment service
28. Pepitas reserves the right to block the use of Payment service if: a there are objectively justified reasons related to the security of payment service; or b there is a suspicion of unauthorized or fraudulent use of payment service.
29. Pepitas inform the Customer as soon as possible of the blocking of payment service and the reasons for it. Pepitas shall not inform the Customer if this would compromise objectively justified security reasons or is prohibited by any legislation.
30.Once the reasons for blocking payment service no longer exist, Pepitas shall unblock payment service Statement period
31.Every month the statement start from 26th of current month and ends on 25th of Next Month.
32.The Customer will receive statement on 1st of Every month and payment should be settled on or before 10th of every month.
33. A service charge is a fee collected to pay for services related to the value added products or service being purchased. The charge is usually added at the time of the transaction and reflects in statement.
34. Travel tickets car rental, movie tickets, pay bills are subject to collect service charges, When collected, these charges may cover services rendered to the consumer, or they may cover administrative or processing costs.
35. Service charges are additional charges related to the purchase of a product or service. They are generally collected at the time the transaction takes place between the consumer and the Pepitas.
34. Pepitas is authorised to debit the late payment charges if the customer not paid on or before the due date. INR 350 + GST will be collected from the customer for late payments.
35. All Legal issues will be resolved through court of Chennai Jurisdiction.
Rules and Regulation
a. Pepitas customer should abide rules and regulation of the hotel. Rights of admission reserved for each and every hotel.
b. Rights of admission, rules and regulation, dress code may differ from hotel to hotel. Customer should follow this to run the business smoothly.
c. Complaints and suggestions related to food and beverage, room service, car rental will be addressed to the service provider for beneficial of customers.
d. Charges will be applicable for cancelling booked services like room reservation, travel tickets, car rental and table reservation in restaurant.
